ANSEL ADAMS

Adams is known for his impressive black and white pictures of American landscapes. He's considered as one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. In the years 1944-1958 he photographed  the national parks in America and was awarded three Guggenheim awards for it. He's regarded as the successor of Timothy O'Sullivan, a renowned nature photographer from the 19th century.
Adams' pictures show the pure beauty of nature, they are almost "unearthly". The composition and photometry he masters are also almost "unearthly".
